The Evenstar

I regularly participate in the Instagram-based Month of Masters challenge, where artists study and reinterpret works from Art Nouveau, the Golden Age of illustration, and other influential traditions.

 

I created this Evenstar portrait of Arwen from The Lord of the Rings as a blending of fantasy art and Alphonse Mucha’s iconic style, drawing on his ornamental compositions, flowing lines, and symbolic framing.

 

The piece sits at the intersection of homage and interpretation, exploring how classic decorative aesthetics can be reimagined through a modern fantasy lens.
